It would be handy to have published information for each API describing the the format of the data we should expect to receive. For numbers - whether they are float or integer, and how many decimal places will be provided. For strings, the maximum string length that might be provided. I would be looking for this data on all the EOD data and the fundamentals data primarily. I have made a best guess when setting up my current tables but having official guidelines based on the data source would be nice.
