Lately I’ve been trying to make my daily routine faster.
Right now I just open the EODHD site, check a few tickers, maybe look at dividends and splits.
Curious — do you guys have your own shortcuts or favorite tools for a quick market overview?
Always looking for new ideas to speed things up.
Excel add-on all the way. One click refresh and I’m good.
I set up a sheet in Google Sheets that pings the API once a day. Don’t need live data, just a daily snapshot for my watchlist. Works fine for me.
I actually use both the EODHD Excel add-on for quick checks and Power Query when I want to mix in other stuff like fundamentals or dividend history. Keeps things tidy without a ton of manual work.
Honestly I just copy-paste the CSV download into Excel every morning. Takes 30 seconds. Not high tech, but it works.
Excel add-on changed the game for me. Before I was juggling CSV files and updating them by hand — now I just hit refresh and the whole sheet updates, prices, volumes, dividends, whatever I’ve set up. Super easy.
